Undefeated Du-Pec Rivermen take care of Rockford Lutheran

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — The Du-Pec Rivermen went into Rockford Lutheran Friday night as heavy favorites, and that's exactly how the game turned out. The Rivermen defeated Crusaders 53-0.
The Rivermen scored on their first play from scrimmage on a 55-yard touchdown run by Jonny Fritzel and they kept rolling. They led 47-0 at halftime.
Du-Pec improves to 6-0. Next week they'll surely be tested when they play at 6-0 Byron for sole possession of first place in the Big Northern Conference.
