Steelers rookie RT Max Iheanachor to start vs. Bengals

The Pittsburgh Steelers will feature an entirely new right side of their offensive line this week, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
First-round rookie Max Iheanachor is set to make his debut as a starter at right tackle, while Brock Hoffman will take over at right guard.

The changes come as the Steelers continue to search for their most reliable combination up front. Iheanachor has been pushing for an opportunity after showing promise during the preseason, while Dylan Cook had struggled to consistently secure the right tackle spot. Spencer Anderson started the first two games at right guard, but he’ll now take a seat in favor of the veteran Hoffman, who McCarthy is familiar with from their time in Dallas.
With Aaron Rodgers at quarterback, protecting the pocket will always be a major priority. The Steelers will now turn to two new starters on the right side as they look to establish more stability up front.
