Von Miller shares prank career news (and Tom Brady's in on it)

· Yahoo Sports

Former Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller is signing with the Las Vegas Raiders — or so he'd like you to believe. April Fools!

Miller posted on Instagram that he would be signing with one of Denver's oldest rivals, the Las Vegas Raiders on Wednesday. "Sin City let’s get crazy!" posted captioned his post.

Raiders minority owner Tom Brady leaned into the joke, commented on the post with three fire emojis. Miller and Brady have grown closer over the years, even playing in a flag football tournament together recently.

Relax, Broncos Country! Earlier in the offseason, Miller responded to speculation that he could join Las Vegas during free agency. "(Playing for Las Vegas is) really the only thing that could make Broncos Country not love me no more," said Miller on his "Free Range" podcast in February. "If I'm going (back) to the AFC West, it's going to be the Denver Broncos."

Miller has pulled this joke multiple times in years past, making similar April Fools posts in 2017, 2018 and 2020, among other years.

Miller is still a free agent after the Washington Commanders let his contract expire. The ferocious pass-rusher has had a wonderful career to this point, including two Super Bowl wins and a Super Bowl MVP. He is still looking to make his mark on the league, and still hopes to one day return to the Broncos.
