Tennessee high school football teams to play season finale at unique venue
· Yahoo Sports
As much as they may want him in Knoxville now, Tennessee fans know that they've still got some time to wait before five-star running back David Gabriel Georges suits up for the Volunteers.
However, the day before Halloween, fans in Knoxville will get the chance to see him up-close in his future home — but not in your typical high school football environment.

Knox News reported on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 16, that Gabriel Georges and the Baylor Red Raiders will square off with Knoxville Catholic (TN) on October 30 at Covenant Health Park, home of minor league baseball’s Knoxville Smokies.
The game will be the first of its kind at the 6,355-seat ballpark.
Should both teams continue their unbeaten ways, that game could be one of the biggest in the state of Tennessee this season.
Baylor checks in as the No. 13 team in the latest USA TODAY Sports Super 25 rankings and the No. 7 team in the Super 15 Southeast rankings. The Red Raiders are 4-0 on the season with massive wins over Brentwood Academy (TN) and most recently went on the road and beat No. 25 Trinity (KY) 35-27 behind a 315-yard and five-touchdown night from Gabriel Georges.
Like the Red Raiders, Knoxville Catholic is also unbeaten on the year. While they're unbeaten, the Fighting Irish have been tested — only winning by an average of 8.3 points with all but one of those wins decided by single-digits.
The Oct. 30 showdown will serve as the regular season finale for Baylor and the season finale for Knoxville Catholic. In early July it was announced that the program had self-imposed a one-year TSSAA postseason ban due to recruiting violations.
This year's meeting between the two programs will be the 14th meeting all-time. Baylor leads the series 8-5 with the Red Raiders winning the last six games and eight of the last 10. The Red Raiders won the regular season and postseason games last year by an average 24.5 points.
