MONROE — Ouachita Christian remains undefeated entering this second half of the LHSAA football season.
Junior quarterback Tristan Raymond had a career outing for the Class 1A No. 1 Eagles 62-32 victory against Bunkie with 368 total yards and eight touchdowns on Friday, Oct. 9, at Steven Fitzhugh Field. Seniors Jude Turner (282 total yards, four TDs) and Luke Edwards (151 receiving yards, two TDs) and junior D'Siah Bradshaw (receiving TD) continued being key contributors for OCS.

Raymond has now thrown 14 touchdown passes through five games in his first season as the Eagles' starting signal caller.
"He does a great job of running the offense the way it's supposed to be run," OCS coach Steven Fitzhugh said earlier this season. "He can make plays throwing the ball. He has great speed, and he can accelerate, make big plays on the ground as well. He has good composure and leadership back there and good chemistry with our offense."

Oak Grove 67, Richwood 51: The Tigers (2-4) came out on top against the Rams (3-3) in another high-scoring contest in the Monroe area. Senior quarterback Bryson Reeves totaled 336 yards and six touchdowns (five passing) in the win; senior PJ Hill (226 rushing yards, three TDs) and sophomore James Gregory (117 receiving yards, two TDs) also stood out for Oak Grove.
Franklin Parish 55, Wossman 30: The Class 4A No. 5 Patriots (5-1) have won five in a row with their victory against the Wildcats (3-3). Franklin Parish senior Trey Martin (170 yards, three touchdowns) and junior DJ Neal (112 yards, two TDs) remain a top running back duo in Louisiana; senior Connor Linder racked up nine tackles and two interceptions.
Cedar Creek 48, North Caddo 0: The Class 1A No. 9 Cougars also remain undefeated this fall following their shutout win against North Caddo. Creek sophomore Payton Harris ran for 192 yards and five touchdowns; sophomore Noah Smith totaled 10 tackles (four TFLs) and a sack.
Lincoln Prep 46, Arcadia 14: The Panthers (3-3) snapped a three-game skid as junior Jabari Levingston totaled 282 yards and four touchdowns. Junior Karmelo Goins had two touchdown receptions while sophomore Kayse Owens racked up six tackles, an interception and a fumble return touchdown.
Beekman Charter 28, D'Arbonne Woods Charter 20: The Tigers are now 5-1 this season following their victory against the Wolves (2-3). Senior Trenton West ran for 82 yards and three touchdowns. adding a pair of two-point conversions, four tackles and a pass breakup.
Jena 36, Marksville 30: In a battle of top-10 teams in Class 3A, the No. 5 Giants (4-2) handed the No. 6 Tigers their first loss of the season. Junior Brittain Johnson threw a touchdown pass and also scored following an onside kick for Jena.
Union Parish 28, Caldwell 21: The Farmers won their first game since defeating Kinder on the road in the Division III nonselect quarterfinals on Nov. 28, 2025.
LaSalle 54, Delhi 8: The Tigers (3-3) defeated the Bears (2-4) as sophomore Luke Lasiter threw for 242 yards and four touchdowns. Sophomore Kasen Maxwell had 136 receiving yards and three touchdowns while senior Wyatt King ran for 172 yards and three scores.
Mangham 65, Vidalia 28: The Class 2A No. 3 Dragons (5-1) continue to roll this fall with five straight wins.
Jonesboro-Hodge 50, Ringgold 0: The Tigers (5-1) have won three consecutive games with their first shutout of the season.
Franklin Academy 44, Wilkinson Co. Christian (Miss.) 30: The Cougars (4-3) have won three in a row with their victory against the Rams.
Winnfield 68, Red River 39: The Tigers (4-2) snapped a two-game losing streak as they defeated the Bulldogs on the road in their district opener.
Rayville 66, Madison 6: Senior Braylon Booker had three carries for 93 yards and two touchdowns in the Hornets' victory. Senior Jacque Williams, freshman Donald Clark and junior Terriun Logan also had rushing touchdowns for Rayville (3-3).
Alexandria 44, West Monroe 7: The Rebels (3-3) dropped back-to-back games for the first time this season in their District 2-5A opener at ASH. Junior Tre King ran for a touchdown and Jordan Perkins had an interception in the loss.
Tioga 28, West Ouachita 13: One week after notching their first victory of the year, the Chiefs (1-5) fell to the Indians in their district opener.
Haughton 41, St. Frederick 0: The Warriors (2-4) lost their third straight contest as the Buccaneers remain undefeated.
